Pre-Engineering, Health Science Technology, KCBY, and Ready, Set, Teach are programs that the committee decided to keep at CHS. The committee considered scheduling needs, facilities, and students’ involvement in other activities when determining which programs would remain at CHS, which ones should only be offered at NTH@C, and which ones can be replicated on both campuses. Are NTH@C classes available to CHS students? No. CHS students will not be able to participate in classes at the new high school and learners attending NTH@C will not take courses at CHS. Both CHS and NTH@C will offer dual credit courses. Will Pre-AP and AP courses be offered at NTH@C? No. Courses at the new campus will be rigorous and relevant to real world connections and will receive the same grade points as AP courses; however, the courses at NTH@C will not be labeled Pre-AP or AP.
