What causes rosacea (skin or facial redness)?
Rosacea is a chronic skin disorder that is characterised by flushing, blushing and inflammatory acne-like flare-ups most commonly seen on the cheeks, chin, forehead and nose. Small, superficial, red ‘broken’ blood vessels can also appear. As the disease progresses, the redness can become ruddy and persistent. Fraxel is a laser treatment that has provided good to excellent outcomes in reducing rosacea symptoms.
