What causes strains?
Strains, as previously mentioned, are injuries either to the muscles or tendons. Strains are usually associated with people who undertake physical activities. They are more common amongst these types of people as they are constantly putting their bodies under excessive strain and forces. It is advisable that those who are thinking about taking up a sport should take their training slowly and build up their strength and stamina at a steady pace. Often these types of injuries occur when athletes do not warm up properly or over stretch themselves.
