What cheese is used in Jalapeno Poppers?
different kinds, i like with cream cheese, but i’ve seen made with chedder and jack also. you need jalapenos of course well you need to cut off the top (stem) hollow it out( take all seeds out then i would use a ziploc baggie(cut off one bottom corner) or get a piping bag (put cream cheese in bag and close like normal) and pipe in cream cheese. now to get them breaded i guess like a traditional egg wash with bread crumbs. they need to bake, i would say at 350 for 15 mins, they shouldn’t take long to get tender and crisp up. i’ve made them wrapped with bacon! never with bread crumbs. those are good too. i have bought them at the grocery store and those are good.
