See the hazardous waste site. Any chemical inclusive of solids, liquids and gases, which are listed by the EPA/DEP or exhibit characteristics of a hazardous waste (Ignitable, Corrosive, and Reactive, Toxic) must be managed and disposed of as hazardous waste.
