The optic/visual axis signals become coherent as they squeeze through the cornea and lens center then diverge outward to a larger fovea area. These signals remain upright never refracting. The fovea signals continue to increase to 35% in size at the visual cortex. These fovea optic/visual axis signals then cross the corpus callosum into the opposite hemispheres and exit diverging into the opposite eye’s optic/visual axis fields.
