Hunterkitty asked: I am building a model of a USAAF P-38 Lightning. The model kit comes with two choices as to paint schemes, but I don’t like either. I was wondering if anyone knew what color they were painted during the Normandy beach landings. I can only find black and white photos and it’s hard to tell what color it could be from the many different colors they were painted. Thanks in advance for your help!
