What Colour Highlights and Lowlights Would Look Good On Black Hair?
The problem with highlights is that if your hair is black then it is very damaging to the hair to get them to show up as it will most likely need to be chemically treated in order to get a good effect. Deep reds and purples always give a bit of life to black hair if you go down the lowlight route (i’ve done it most of my life) but when it comes to shade it is impossible to say without seeing you. Just make sure you go to a salon that specialising in colouring hair and they should advise you as to what shades will compliment your look.
