Brown wooden floor sound nice for about any colors you want. You didn’t even tell us what color your sofa is or if you have a spread you like on the bed. The big thing about paint is using the color you like. For me, I like neutral colors like ivory or white and then I like to put my color into memorabilia or pictures on the walls or in decorations. They can be changed out easily on white or ivory wall. However, I don’t always do that. I have a little cottage in ARkansas and I put a yellow on the walls there in the dining area and have some plaid wall paper. I painted the kitchen in colors that sound strange but look really good together. There are a lot of rainbow trout there so I used those colors. I used the shrimpy or orangy color on the base of bottom cabinets and a light invory as the bases for the top cabinets.
