What colours do I mix to make dusty Pink?
If you want to mix a tint (a color lighter than it’s primary) start with white. If you want to mix a tone (a color darker than it’s primary) start with the color To mix a dusty pink or mauve – start with white and add red tiny drops at a time. When you get close to the tint you want – add grey to the tint to cut down on the harshness. This will probably take some time to get the hang of it. Just have some fun and start with small amounts first. Keep track of how much color you added so that you can mix a larger batch if you need it.
