I think Thailand is better. There is so much development in this country. I’ve been there last March 2007 and it’s a great place to live. I’m also an Asian.

I am Canadian and I’m already thinking about my retirement. I’d go for the Philippines because of the nice warm weather and beautiful beaches, as well, people speaks English so I woudn’t have any problems. Cuba? One, it’s not an Asian country. The question is in Asia Pacific and not in the Carribeans. Don’t get me wrong Cuba is a nice country and is very orderly. However, communism exists in Cuba. I went to Cuba one time and it is fabulous, just like in the Philippines. Philippines and Cuba share the same history. The Americans ruled over Puerto Rico, Cuba, Guam and the Philippines after Spain by the Treaty of Paris in the late 1800s. Although Cubans speak purely Spanish. Me no comprehende Espanol. But, Cuba Si! Viva a Cuba!
