In order to become an Anesthesiologist Assistant, one must obtain an undergraduate premedical background—premedical courses in biology, physics, chemistry or mathematics—and a baccalaureate degree. Post-baccalaureate programs offered are from twenty-four to twenty-eight months in duration.
