To be eligible for consideration for the Roanoke CCAP, an individual must: • Graduate as a member of the 2009 class with a Patrick Henry or William Fleming High School diploma and have attended Patrick Henry or William Fleming High School for at least his/her junior and senior years, with a cumulative 2.0 grade point average(GPA) • Meet all Virginia Western Community College admission guidelines and demonstrate the ability to benefit from higher education by achieving satisfactory scores on the college’s placement tests • Have a custodial parent or court-approved legal guardian provide documentation that the individual and parent/guardian have resided within the City of Roanoke from August 2007 through April 2009 • Have a completed VWCC financial aid file, meeting all Roanoke CCAP deadlines including completing the 2009-2010 FAFSA.
