What degrees are offered through the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance?
What kind of training will I receive as a Theatre Arts or Dance major? We offer Bachelor Arts or Science degrees in both theatre and dance as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with emphases in classical acting, musical theatre, and design/technology. Does the department have a Musical Theatre Program? YES, the department offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in Musical Theatre. This multidisciplinary degree is supported by our strong curricular offerings within the Theatre, Music and Dance programs. What kinds of creative opportunities will I have as a major?
