What dessert should I bring to a holiday party?
Fudge is always popular at our house, but that’s more for snacking. I’m not a big dessert guy, but if it can’t be a carrot cake, then we used to do something called ambrosia. In a really big bowl dump in as many canned fruits as you have. Chop up marshmallows and add them, then mix in a small container (half a pint) of heavy cream. Stir and let stand in the fridge over night. It’s not wildly sweet, but pretty simple to make. And it goes a long way with a crowd.
