Cassie Winiavski, a 21-year-old St. Petersburg woman was arrested Monday after she stopped a taxiing aircraft, punched a flight attendant and then battered three law enforcement officers during a departing flight. Poor weather conditions delayed a flight for about 75 minutes, leaving passengers a bit miffed. When Winiavski entered the plane, however, all hell was about to break loose. According to TIA officers, the trouble began when Winiavski boarded flight 348 bound for Atlantic city. As the flight began to roll back from the gate, Winiavski complained to flight attendants that she needed to use the restroom and couldn’t wait until the flight was in the air. After continuous complaints from the woman, the pilot stopped the plane, so she could use the restroom. She then dawdled on her way back to her seat, which irritated passengers further.
