What did Claudius Ptolemy discover?
He provided the misinformation that the sun revolves around the earth, which does not move. The Ptolemaic theory was adopted by the Church because it was consistent with others of the their ignorant superstitions, and in 1600 one Giordano Bruno was burned to death before the church of St. Peter for arguiing that Ptolemy was wrong and the earth moved about the sun. And evolution is wrong, and we all have souls, and if we don’t listen to the religous nuts, we will live on after we die and burn and suffer somewere or other. Take it for what it’s worth.
