What did hypatia discover?
Hypatia was a Greek astronomer, mathematician, and philosopher. She didn’t necessarily “discover” anything. Her works in astronomy and mathematics led to the charting of celestial bodies, like stars and planets. She is best known for inventing the hydrometer, which is a device to measure the density and gravity of a liquid.
