What did Jimmy Carter do for Energy Crisis and The Panama Canal Treaty?
The guy who gave the first answer is confused. Carter signed the Panama Canal treaty, which returned the Canal Zone to Panama. He also instituted emergency energy saving measures, such as a limit on the use of air conditioning, to cope with the energy shortage. The energy shortage then solved itself, or rather, a worldwide spate of exploration and drilling paid off and the supply of oil increased.
