The final televised Senate debate included all three candidates vying for the Senate seat in Massachusetts. Republican Scott Brown, Democrat Martha Coakley and Independent Joseph Kennedy sparred on health care, the war in Afghanistan, terrorism and the economy. Martha Coakley asked Scott Brown whether he would disavow the endorsement of the Massachusetts right to life organization. Brown says he accepts their support, but that “Roe v Wade is the law of the land”. Brown asked Coakley whether she agrees Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the alleged 9/11 mastermind should get the death penalty. Coakley who is against death penalty, says she would “support the law of the land” in this situation. Massachusetts voters go to the polls Jan. 19th, to fill the seat left vacant by the death of Edward Kennedy.
