What did Serena Williams Say?
Defending U.S. Open Champion Serena Williams lost it Saturday night en route to her fourth U.S. Open Championship. Williams lost to Kim Clijsters in an out-of-character meltdown when she lashed out at a lineswoman for calling a foot fault. At a post-match press conference, Williams said she wanted to put the whole incident behind her. CBS Sports replayed the Serena meltdown, replacing her profanity with beeps. (see video below) Tina Fey won an Emmy for her portrayal of former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live. Popstar Justin Timberlake also was honored for his appearance on SNL. Fey and Timberlake won their guest-starring awards at the creative arts portion of the Emmys, where 72 awards–mostly in technical categories–were handed out.
