Using a roller to apply the Flat Paint will cause a finer crackle pattern. Using a brush will create a more pronounced crackle effect. Be careful if you are using a roller. Only roll on the paint in one direction. Do not go back over the paint already put on the surface, or it may roll back onto the roller.  more
