What differences are there between Sunni and Shiite Muslims?
there is only political differences after the death of prophet muhammad(pbuh) there was no rightful heir to become the caliph(muslim leader) so the shias thought it should be of the blood line they thought that hadrath ali should have been the caliph since he was the cousin of prophet muhammad(pbuh) but the sunnis wanted a close friend of the prophet to lead muslims till now muslims are killing each other over a small political battle centuries ago : / im just a muslim not sunni not shia : ) edit: dont listen to the first answerer he is clearly very ignoret or lacks common sense both sunnis and shia worship the same god the same god that is worshiped by all abrahimic religions : /
