I think it’s expensive to live in London. My sister went to London for an unpaid internship for college credit recently. For an American, it was so expensive to live there, even though here in the U.S. she had plenty of money. She wasn’t there long, and then went back to school, so I didn’t get to ask her about her trip much. I think of British people as being refined and intelligent. When you hear a British accent on a TV documentary, it’s like your ears start to pay attention immediately. It’s like something about the voice communicates wisdom. I think of British people as having good fashion sense and good taste, or anyone in Europe, for that matter. I think of the British as having a unique, witty sense of humor. I think of all the women wearing fringe haircuts, kind of long and blunt with bangs, because I watched a reality show with a fashion model from London, and she had that haircut.
