I remember fondly the first time I saw a Sandra Boynton board book. I was at the home of a family friend and she was reading this adorable little book to her toddler. The little girl was obviously having a great time reading this story and I looked at the book when they were finished. I was such a young ‘un and was no where near marriage or children, but I made a mental note to remember that book. Now that little toddler is almost 13 years old and wouldnt you know it, Sandra Boyntons books remain on the shelf of most of the wee ones I know. Our family has some of them, including that first one I had seen 13 years before, but on a recent trip to Barnes and Noble I acquired just one more. Yes, my husband rolled his eyes at my purchase (you should see all the childrens books we own), but Im sure he adores Ms. Boyntons books and her cute beasts as much as I. All Right Already!
