Barbers and Hairdressers have similar tasks - both are involved with styling hair. However, hairdressers are often associated with styling women's hair, while barbers are associated with styling men's hair. When styling hair, a hairdresser may cut, curl, add texture or color the hair. On the other hand, barbers usually cut, shave or clip men's hair. Barbers may also offer a face shaving service.
