What do college scouts look for in a HS LB/DL?
size is very important, you should be at least 6’1″ and over 225 lbs; another is getting off the ball fast and getting in the backfield, you said that you are quick off the line so that is working for ya; for a high school defensive lineman to impress the scouts, a high sack and tackle count is imperative; for a linebacker, you have to be a strong leader for your defense, quick, and able to tackle anybody; the moment an opposing running back would run you over, you can forget about it
