What do cougars eat, where do they live, and what eats them etc.?
Cougars, also called pumas or mountain lions (among other names), are found throughout North and South America in a variety of habitats. They are top predators, meaning nothing preys upon them, though they do compete with other largre predators – for example, grey wolves and brown bears in North America and jaguars in South America. They feed on a wide variety of prey including white-tailed deer, mule deer, elk, moose, tapirs, vicunas, guanacos and capybara.
