What do flea bites on humans look like??
Flea bites on a person do not look like mosquito bites or pimples. They are much smaller. They are tiny red raised bumps. Imagine you just had your blood drawn and you have a very small red raised bump from the needle. Flea bites look like that on a human. Reason being is because fleas are animal specfic. As soon as they start to bite you they realize you are not what they want and jump off of you. As for your house and pets- use vet prescribed medication on your pets thru the second frost (usually around thanksgiving). Treat your house as well per the recommendations on the bottle. Most home bombs recommend treatment every 110-200 days pending on the product. Just don’t bomb when you and your pets are home. Vacuum carpet and furniture regularly and wash pet bedding every few days. It is quite a pain, I know. But those little pests are hard to get rid of! Good luck!
