Someone who is unbiased should determine a fair market value for your company. Letting a “Buyer’s Broker” or even a potential Buyer determine the value of your business would be like letting the “fox in the henhouse”. The gathering and evaluation of confidential financial information to determine a fair market value is a very important issue and must be done under controlled conditions.
