What do french people like to eat?

Depends why you’re asking… If it’s because you’ve invited French people round for dinner and you’re wondering what to cook then the answer could be pretty much anything. Probably they would prefer to eat something YOU like to eat and experience something of your culture, tastes etc. When I’m abroad I try to eat something local. Two contrasting experiences in Paris when I was taken out for meals by different people and let my hosts choose. First time I ended up in McDonalds; say no more. Second time in a very traditional restaurant and had andouillette. If you’ve never had it: don’t. It tastes – absolutely literally – of excrement. I had a very large cognac afterwards to take the taste away. But it didn’t work – I can still taste it now several years later. If you’re just asking because of cultural curiosity or because you’re going there, well the food’s better than England Germany or Greece but that’s not saying much. Traditionally, the French are more inclined to buy fresh food each
