Grasshoppers eat plants. They get most of their water from the plants while they are eating. Question from Val Caron. Can a cockroach bite a humanbeing and then lay eggs in the humans skin? Or can a flea do it? What kind of bugs can do that? Cockroaches have been know to bite humans, but very rarely. They do not lay eggs on humans. Most leave egg capsules in their environment to hatch later. Fleas lay eggs in places where the larvae will feed such as a carpet. A type of 'bug' that lays eggs in humans would be the scabies mite.
