What do i do for low hemoglobin level?
10.8 is low but not so low that i think you should be overly concerned by son was in the picu and his hemoglobin went down to seven because of all the blood being drawn before they gave him a blood transfusion.since your son is breastfeed did you try to eat more iron rich foods like spinach and red meat, egg yolks,liver, artichokes, and lentils including soy beans if you are vegetarian.I would start with trying to eat more iron rich foods yourself and if that doesn’t work you may have to try iron vitamins or introducing your son to more iron rich food in some shape or form try making or buying juice that has veggies like spinach in it and a high iron content and giving him a little bit watered down it might not be much but every little bit counts with little ones.Babies do get all the vitamins and nutrients that they need including iron from breast milk that is why that is the best way to feed a baby and this includes iron or all babies who are breast feed would have iron problems sinc
