What do i do if i choked on a foreign object from a fast food place?
Frivolous lawsuits are never a good thing (and are the demise of our legal system), but if you seriously choked on a foreign object then someone should be contacted about it. I would have first brought it to the attention of the restaurant manager and then notified their corporate office. After that, if they weren’t able to satisfy you, I might contact an attorney. When I was pregnant with my first child, I went to a salad bar and picked out a deviled egg (there were like 50 of them, and with my rotten luck I chose the bum one)…I bit down onto a screw that was blended in with the yellow part. Since I was pregnant and hormonal I was probably more concerned than I needed to be about it and, honestly, I could have chipped a tooth or something. But I told the manager, and he very politely explained that after they had mixed the egg stuff up earlier they noticed that a screw was missing from the blender but never imagined it had gotten into the food.
