What do I do with the cash and/or cheques I have collected?
If you are collecting cash and/or cheque donations on behalf of a team, you can do one of the following: • give them to your team captain who will be collecting the donations from his/her team members then submitting them to the local Canadian Cancer Society unit office prior to the event • submit them at the event • drop them off at the local Canadian Cancer Society unit office managing your event Please note: cash and/or cheque donations cannot be processed online as they require tax receipts that can only be issued by the Canadian Cancer Society. Please submit any cash and/or cheque donations by one of the previously mentioned methods.
