Prepare the wallboard surface as you would for painting: tape joints with drywall tape and joint compound and spot fasteners with joint compound. Then prime the surface with Sto Primer after the joint compound is dry. Apply Sto finish after the Sto Primer is dry following normal application procedures. Note that the Sto Primer must be tinted to match the finish color if using Sto Decocoat. It should also be tinted for fine aggregate finishes such as Sto Fine Sand and Stolit .75 for best results.
