What do Nephilim have to do with the book of enoch?
Nephilim are mentioned in genesis 6 as the offspring of an intermarriage between Angels and human women. It indicates that this was a reason for the flood, to eliminate the genetically corrupted, mixed seed, race of giants known as Nephilim. They appear again in Numbers 13, as inhabiting some of the areas of Canaan, this has led some to believe that genetic corruption was the reason the Israelits were commanded to kill every member of certain tribes when they went in to take over the land of Canaan. While the book of Enoch, it is not part of Bible canon, a reference to Enoch’s prophecy of is contained in the book of Jude of the New Testament. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church to this day regards Enoch to be canonical. The Book of Enoch deals with life on earth prior to the flood, including Fallen Angels, Giants, the origin of the occult, Noah as a young man, and some amazing end times prophecy. I don’t know if there is any validity to Enoch except for the portion that appears in Jude, but
