What do people wear now that will be considered retro some day?
For men, baggy jeans would become retro, as well as the long baggy shorts like the basketball players wear. Those things can’t stay in style forever. Also wearing untucked long tail shirts will one day be retro. I think slim fitting jeans will make a comeback for men and tucking shirts in could also make a comeback. Cowboy boots never go out of style. Perhaps the “Urban Cowboy” look of the early 1980s will come back. The whole western clothing look could make a comeback as it did in the early and mid 1990s. As for women, capris will go back to being embarrassing highwaters that nobody will want to be seen wearing in public. Babydoll tops will give way to cap sleeve tees. Ballet flats will only be used for dancing. Crocs could become deemed unsafe by OSHA. Of course, I could be wrong and some of these things will still be in fashion in 20 years like capris.
