What do Philly Eagles have to do to win a bloody superbowl?
I think it boils down to finishing games when it counts. When you look at the post season record for Andy Reid as head coach it is quite impressive. He is 18-10 in the post season and has been to 4 NFC championship games within a 10 year span. The problem is the Eagles collapse in games that actually mean something. For example, this season against the Cowboys. They had an opportunity to win against the Cowboys to cement their spot as the #3 seed in the NFC. They ended up losing and dropped from #3 all the way to #6. The point is, the Eagles have chances to win, but they fail to win when it counts. If they want to be championship caliber which they are capable of doing, they must win all the games that count. The Cowboys game before the playoffs was inexcusable. The Eagles have talent and the system works because Reid has been successful there. But having talent and a system that works won’t cut it, if you don’t win when you need to the most.
