What Do Rockfish Eat?
Rockfish are native to the North Pacific Ocean, living in the waters from as far north as Alaska to as far west as Japan. Also known as Pacific red snapper and rock cod, rockfish is a broad category of fish varying in size, shape and color. They typically have large heads, large eyes and wide mouths that resemble a frown. As ocean dwellers, rockfish take their nourishment from the ocean habitats that they live in.
