What do the logos on the maps mean?

The NOAA logo is the logo of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This logo appears on all maps. The OCS logo is the logo of the Oregon Climate Service (OCS), a major contributor to this Atlas. All grids that went into the maps displaying the OCS logo were produced using the PRISM system. Those grids are available for purchase through The Climate Source.
