What do the Name, Company and Organization fields mean at the party level? How do they relate to the data we currently receive?
In the current system, there is no differentiation between an individual name, a company name, or an organization name. They are all stored in the same field, party name. In the new TTAB and ASGN systems, this information is stored in separate fields so that we may capture an individual’s name and/or the company or organization that the individual is associated with. However, they still all relate to party name.
