After reading through the reviews, a majority of the customers are extremely happy with their purchase of the Presto ProFry Deep Fryer. I read all the instructions first and used a candy thermometer to make sure the unit’s thermostat was accurate and it was. I had read the review on here about stirring the oil if it doesn’t reach the proper temp and that worked like a charm. I wasn’t sure when I would use it again so after the first fry fest (say that three times fast) I drained and filtered the oil using a large mesh strainer with a round coffee filter.
