Taxable interest is basically any interest that you earned though out the year. Mostly all interest earned is taxable as earned income. You will usually get a 1099-INT from the bank or financial institute stating your interest earned. (then subtract any fees or early withdraws you paid). Put that number on the line that says interest earned.
