What do warranties cover?
Film warranties cover virtually anything that has happened to films in the past such as but not limited to peeling, bubbling, crazing, demetalizing etc. Maybe the most important thing about film warranties is that they are not prorated. If a film with a 10-year warranty fails after 9 years, the manufacturer is contractually obligated to pay a dealer to remove the old film and install new film at no cost to warranty holder.
