What do you think is most important for a guild? Raid progression or having nice understanding ppl/RL friends in a guild?
Having a nice understanding with people and friends will always equate to progress. Always. Maybe not number one on the server and grinding out 5 hour raid nights 6 nights a week, but you’ll get it done with minimal stress, lots of laughs, and plenty of memories. You’ll get more than your $15’s worth a month. Inversely, pushing hard for raid progression always, always, ALWAYS leads to stress and burnout. Always. Some people may have a higher tolerance than others, but it wears on everyone eventually. The race to be temporarily #1 demands a lot of patience, sanity, certain real-life neglects (admit it), and, in the end, true enjoyment. This factor is one of the major reasons for the upcoming raid changes in Cataclysm.
