What do you think you, the goverment, and the world can do to save the endangered Giant Panda?
We (people in general) can help by being more conservative of our environments. Much is already being done to prevent the Giant Panda from becoming extinct. It is on the endangered species list, there is grave punishment in China for anyone harming or harassing one, and there is a center that does research, breeding, and rehabilitation for ill or injured pandas. Giant Pandas have been leased by China to zoos around the world, where they have been successfully bred. As a previous answer mentioned, those countries do not “own” the animal (all remain the property of China, even cubs born in the US or elsewhere). However, I still think that it is wonderful that these foreign zoos are assisting the species. I really think that other than conservation and education, there is not much more that can be done. There are still rogue people that hunt the pandas in their natural habitat (for their fur or parts that can be used for medicine, etc.) so I suppose that if there were more security in the
