What Does a Computer Drafter and Designer Do?
Computer drafters and designers create technical drawings and plans used to build everything from manufactured products – clocks, blenders, machinery, airplanes – to structures – houses, office buildings, sewer systems. Drafters fill in technical details, using drawings, sketches, specifications, codes, and calculations made by engineers, surveyors, architects, or scientists.
