What does a dogwood tree look like?
A dogwood tree, which is believed to be the same tree used for Jesus’ cross, has bark similar to a crepe myrtle tree. They are good size landscaping trees, not really shade trees. The flower has four pedals that sort of form a square shape. There is one pedal on each corner of the tip, N, S, E and W. They come in many colors, I prefer white with a red center. The dogwood flower seems to be a favorite of Asian people as you will see it in their culture inspired paintings.
