What does a housing bricklaying apprentice do?
A housing bricklayer apprentice is involved in: Laying bricks, pre-cut stone, concrete blocks and other building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations and partitions. They are required to have an understanding of many construction techniques such as brick veneer, brick cavity, tuck pointing, decorative brickwork, fireplaces, chimneys and masonry arches.
